I think xkcd summed it up best (http://xkcd.com/918/) “What is it?” “Not facebook” “What is it like?” “Facebook”. Facebook without the horrid ads, apps, games, etc. and where keeping your circles separate is a core feature, and with a decent mobile app. G+ has lots of flaws – it’s brand new. But it promises to be better. I hope when apps come to G+ they will have better permissions settings, providing more control and privacy to the end-user.
At present, it’s annoying to have yet another social site to monitor and post to. It’s annoying to have my circles spread out amongst multiple sites – facebook, linkedin, twitter, and now G+. We’ll see where this goes, I guess.
Thanks Matt for the great feedback! I also noticed that they do have an app for android but not iPhone/iPad yet. I did download it to my EVO and will check it out. Thanks again!
